On 25 September, Sharon Feigal, Rights Stuff's In-house Reasearcher, will present a Rights Stuff paper aimed at documentary and short filmmakers entitled "New Media Trends: New Opportunities with New Players" at Nordisk Panorama Outlook, a new industry section in connection with the Nordisk Panorama - 5 Cities Film Festival. Sharon will provide an overview of some of the major new media video platforms and evolving business models on the internet, with an emphasis on licensing already-existing shorts and docs to various new media platforms. She also illustrates examples of original production designed specifically for web, mobile and transmedia exploitation internationally, and offers practical suggestions to consider in the international market.
