April 22 @ 10:00-12:00: "New business models for new ways of financing, producing and distributing films: How to turn eyeballs into euros"
On 22 April, Wendy Bernfeld, Rights Stuff MD, will join Nuno Bernardo, transmedia writer, producer and founder of beActive, at EAVE's FILM FINANCE FORUM, for a combined session on new business models for the digital media world (including made for web, cross platform, and transmedia) production, financing and distribution.
Nuno provides various indepth case studies and Wendy outlines a broader ''helicopter view'', spanning the current evolving international landscape and players (alternative funding and licensing platforms); as well as the impact of creative windowing; programming for cross platform devices; new roles of producers/and new middlemen; evolving roles of social networks and festivals, and various alternative sources of financing (brands, new media/VOD licensing and funding platforms, and crowd).
Wendy will also participate in various one to one meetings as a tutor/expert.
